What should I do if I experience an error while installing the game?

If you experience any of the following errors while installing the game, please follow the steps listed below.

  • Disk write errors (An error occurred while installing inZOI (disk write/read error))
  • Error Code 53 (Content File Locked)
  • File Permission errors
  • Insufficient disk space
  • Installation Stopped errors
  • Corrupt File errors

 

[Fixes]

1. Check free disk space

  • Check if you have enough disk space to install the game.
  • Free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files or using an external storage device.

2. Verify game file integrity

  • Go to your Steam Library → Right-click the game → Go to Properties → Go to Installed Files → Select [Verify integrity of game files].

3. Check folder permissions

  • Right-click Steam directory → Go to Properties → Open Security tab → Check if [Full Control] is enabled for your account.

4. Update Steam client

  • Update Steam to the latest version.

5. Run Steam as administrator

  • Right-click the Steam icon → Click [Run as administrator].

6. Check network connection status

  • For a more stable internet connection, use an Ethernet cable.
  • If necessary, restart your internet router and check your network status afterwards.

7. Clear download cache

  • Go to Steam → Open Settings → Open Download → Click [Clear Download Cache] and sign in to your account.
