What should I do if the game lags during gameplay?

If you experience any of the following errors, please follow the steps listed below.

[Windows PC – Checks and Fixes]
1. Update Windows to the latest version
Click the Windows button in the bottom-left → Go to Windows Settings → Go to Updates & Security → Update Windows to the latest version.

2. Disable non-essential software
Running software which interferes with Steam may prevent the game from properly launching.
Disable Discord, NVIDIA GeForce Experience, and any other background applications that generate overlays or have high memory usage.

3. Install the latest version of your graphics driver and perform a clean installation
Download the latest version of your graphics driver from your graphics card manufacturer's website.

AMD: Download driver
Delete your shader cache by selecting [Perform a clean installation] during installation.

[Mac – Checks and Fixes]
1. Check your Wi-Fi connection
In unstable wireless network environments, character positions may update late or connection issues may occur.
If possible, use a wired LAN connection or switch to a 5GHz Wi-Fi band.

2. Close background applications
Quit high-resource apps such as Discord, Chrome, or file backup apps (e.g., Time Machine).

3. Lower graphics quality in-game
Reducing memory usage can help decrease processing delays.
Adjust resolution scale and set shadow/texture quality to ‘Medium’ or lower.

4. Check for the latest macOS updates
Go to System Settings > General > Software Update and ensure your system is up to date.

5. Check power cable connection
Battery saver mode may automatically activate and limit performance.
Connect the power adapter and make sure battery saver mode is turned off.
