If you experience any issues with saving the game, please follow the steps listed below.
[Windows PC]
1. Check Windows Defender settings
- Go to Windows Defender Security Center → Go to Virus & threat protection → Go to Virus & threat protection settings → Select [Ransomware protection] → Disable [Controlled folder access].
2. Check Bitdefender settings
- Go to Bitdefender dashboard → Open Protection tab → Open Application access → Set rules for inZOI to [Allowed].
3. Check Norton AntiVirus settings
- Go to Norton and whitelist inZOI.
- Check Norton support for more details.
4. Check free disk space
- Check if you have enough disk space to install the game.
- Free up disk space by deleting unnecessary files or using an external storage device.
5. Check folder permissions
- Right-click the Steam directory folder → Go to Properties → Open Security tab → Check if [Full Control] is enabled for your account.
[Mac]
1. Check save location permissions
Game save files are stored in the following locations:
- Mac Steam: Users/{UserName}/Documents/inZOI/SaveGames
- App Store: Users/{UserName}/Library/Containers/com.krafton.inzoi/Data/Documents/inZOI/SaveGames
If macOS is blocking access to these locations, saving may fail.
→ Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access and make sure Steam or inZOI is enabled.
2. Check free disk space
If storage is insufficient, saving may fail.
Go to About This Mac → More Info → Storage and check that you have enough free space.
3. Check permissions for external SSD or external storage devices
In Finder, select the disk → Right-click → Get Info → Make sure it is set to Read & Write.
